Québécois Champion Sylvain Grenier defeated Samson by DQ.
After the match, Nova Cain intervened on Samson's behalf, attacking Sly; Paysan stormed out of the dressing room to the aid of the NCW champ. (Paysan had been absent since the 'Christmas in Hell' show, where he had been badly injured by Nova). At Sylvain's request, the referee agreed to a tag team match. Nova managed to pin the former WWE tag team champion with a powerbomb, with Don Paysan standing by, distracted by Handsome JF .
This sets the scene for both the Blizzard Show on 7 February where Sylvain and Nova Cain fight it out for the NCW belt - and for the upcoming CRW show on 22 February when Sylvain and Don Paysan will settle their score.

Nova Cain est intervenu pour attaquer Sly, ce qui a causé la disqualification de Samson. Paysan est ensuite sorti des vestiaires pour aller aider le champion de la NCW. Paysan avait notamment été absent depuis Noel d’Enfer, dû à la blessure que Nova lui avait infligée. À la demande de Sylvain, l’arbitre a accepté de changer le combat pour un match par équipe. Néanmoins, Nova est parvenu à battre l’ancien champion par équipes de la WWE, à l’aide d’un powerbomb, Don Paysan n’a rien pu y faire, étant distrait par Handsome JF, qui était venu attirer son attention aux abords du ring.
